This hike is one of the things I do when I have visitors who want to walk but not a Tramuntana massacre. Flat, along the sea, gravel path directly on the coastal plateau. Around 12.5 km round trip, 3.5 hours with breaks. Barely any elevation, but no shade, so do not do this in July or August.
Start is at Cala Pi, in the village of the same name, municipality of Llucmajor. There is parking in the village, then you walk down to the cove (around 100 steps). Cala Pi itself is a 420 meter long narrow bay, mouth of a torrent. At the pier stands the Torre de Cala Pi, a watchtower from 1663 against North African corsairs. Worth a look, you cannot go in though.
From Cala Pi westward along the cliffs. The path is clearly marked, goes directly along the cliff edge (no railings in places, careful with kids). You walk through pine forest and low scrub. After 5 km you reach Cap Enderrocat (old military installation, you can explore it at your own risk). After 6.5 km the Cap Blanc lighthouse is reached. The tower is 12 meters high, built 1863, with an iron ladder on the outside, if you dare you climb up. View as far as Cabrera in clear weather.
If you want to save the way back, you could theoretically leave one car at Cap Blanc and the other at Cala Pi. Or you walk back. I recommend walking back because in late afternoon you see the light from the other side, completely different image. Bring your own water, there is nothing at Cap Blanc. Trekking shoes not necessary, good sneakers are enough.
