Playa de Muro is the big calm beach that families with small kids are looking for. Six kilometers long, the water only reaches hip depth after 50 meters, pine forest behind with natural shade. The beach splits into four sectors, sector 1 has the hotels, sectors 3 and 4 are quieter and more natural. At sector 1 the S'Albufera nature reserve sits right behind (birdwatching, free, bring binoculars). Parking at sector 1 is free but limited. Hotels on the beach are mostly all-inclusive chains, for day visitors the chiringuitos right at the water are better.
