Cala Bóquer is the cove for people who want to earn the forty-five minute walk. Start at the Pollença harbor parking, the path cuts through Vall de Bóquer, flat valley between two limestone ridges, a few wild goats, rosemary, juniper, orchids in spring. At the end suddenly the sea, a small cove with coarse pebbles, turquoise water, zero infrastructure. Swim yes, snorkel yes. No sand, no food, no shade. Bring two liters of water, proper shoes, a hat. And walk back.
